Letterform #1 and #2

For these pieces of art, I had to draw different sizes of different letters and numbers. I honestly didn't find this project all that fun nor exciting. It wasn't really difficult what so ever, so I didn't run into many problems at all. The hardest part of creating these most likely was as simple as figuring out what letter or number to draw/write next. I do think this project turned out fine, but it's nothing special.

Pop Art

PICTURE UNAVAILABLE

This also was one of my favorite projects to do this year. My partner, Adam, and I made a pair of Beats headphones paper mache. Although this piece was very time consuming to create, I would have to say it turned out pretty successful as well. The only difficulties that I remember having was that the paste to make them was pretty messy. I don't think I would change anything on this project either if I could or were to redo it over.

Stop Motion

PICTURE UNAVAILABLE

I would have to say that this project was one of my most favorite out of all the different projects we did all year. I was in a group with Jaelynn and Adam, and I think our video was very successful. I honestly don't think that I would change anything if my group and I were to redo it over. We barely even came into any problems, and if we did they were easily resolved. I had so much fun doing this project and experimenting with stop motion.

Cell Animation

I think this project came together pretty well. I only really came into trouble fitting the background to the cell sheet I painted on. Overall, I see this as one of my favorite projects. It was pretty fun customizing and making your own cartoon character, while also trying something new such as using a cell sheet to paint on. I enjoyed this project and like my piece.

Character Skeleton

I think this art project is alright. I think the left picture turned out a lot better, but that's most likely because it was a lot easier to draw. I found it extremely hard drawing the skeleton, and including ALL the bones. It was especially hard fitting to the body. This project taught me how hard and difficult it is drawing bones, with all the different little parts to the skeleton. If I were to redo this project, I think I would study more on how to connect the head to the body more properly. Overall, I did find this piece pretty challenging, yet fun.

Scavanger

Overall, I don't think this is close to being my best piece of work. I still believe that this piece still came together fairly well. It was pretty hard attempting to give every object a 3-D look, and also giving them a shadow. If I were to do this project again, I think I would maybe put a little more time and effort into it. I didn't find this project to be all that fun or interesting to do, but I do believe it helped improve my skills on making 3-D pictures.

Clay Mug

I really liked this project! It was nice to experience something different. I think my mug turned out a little off and the handle didn't turn out exactly, but other than that I think it looks fine. If I were to redo this project, I would definently attempt to make a better handle. I found this piece a little challenging to make, but it was fun. It taught me that clay isn't nearly as easy to use at it looks. Overall, I had fun making it and it's not too bad looking.
